Raising Yousuf and Noor: diary of a Palestinian mother
I am a Palestinian from Gaza. I am a journalist. I am a mother. I am a Muslim. This blog is about the trials of raising my children between spaces and identities; displacement and occupation; and everything that entails from potty training to border crossings. My husband is a Palestinian refugee denied his right of return to Palestine, and thus OUR right to family life. Together, we endure a lot, and the personal becomes political. This is our story.

....she is really cute...she and her brother both....all the luck for them in the future
Absolutely adorable!! I love her eyes :)
I just wanted you to know I think your blog is fantastic! I've been reading it for months now and have never commented but just wanted to tell you that I was sad that you were victimized by the whole blogger suspension. If it's any consolation, I have a bunch of friends whose blogs were targeted. It seems that although you have Palestinian friends who's blogs were targeted also, I've heard across the board that many ware just part of a new random testing for spam blogs. With that said, I'm glad you are back online and keep up the good work. Your children are so beautiful and your writing so inspiring and refreshing.
