Pictures from Trondheim

Trondheim as seen from above

A casual stroll through the supermarket reveals...

Elk meat. A local speciality, now in season.

Fish...

Fish

and more fish!

In this case, a Norwegian speciality-and somewhat of an acquired taste, to put it mildly: Lutefisk. Basically, fish submerged in lye. Think fish jello.

And pickled fish, in twenty different varieties.

Even fish pancakes!
